Ancient synagogue may have been where Mary Magdalene met Jesus Christ

Excavations in Migdal, Israel, have resulted in an intriguing find. They believe they have found Magdala, the ancient city in northern Israel that is believed to be the home of Mary Magdalene. There, they discovered an ornate synagogue that may have been preached at by Jesus Christ.

They also found an ancient altar that is now being called the Magdala Stone and a bowl used for washing.

According to KSN:

Historians believe Jesus may have once walked the town’s cobbled streets, and say Magdala may have been home to one of the most important figures of the bible, Mary Magdala, the first recorded witness of the Resurrection.
