Cruz gets another anti-establishment endorsement: Bob Dole likes all of the candidates except him

If the race for the GOP nomination for President of the United States were based upon the number of lifetime politicians that hated them, Senator Ted Cruz would win by a landslide. Republican establishment “lifers” like John Boehner and George W. Bush don’t care for the maverick style that Cruz uses to fight for the people.

Add another name to that list: former Senator and 1996 Republican Presidential nominee Bob Dole. This is the man who had the fewest electoral college votes of any Republican candidate in the last 50 years. The 92-year-old said in an impromptu interview that he liked nearly all of the current candidates except for Cruz.

Unfortunately for the Republican establishment that puts up candidates like Dole, John McCain, and Mitt Romney, these remarks are tantamount with an endorsement in the eyes of Republican voters.

It was predictable that Dole’s candidate of choice would be Jeb Bush. The more that the failed Republican establishment hates on Cruz, the more that Americans will trust him.
