I couldn’t agree more. This will give the Mid-Majors a chance to actually play for something other than a Conference title. However, I don’t see this issue being solved with just a playoff because next you will have people crying foul and that it should be 16 teams.

I agree that something should be done about the state of the system, it’s just not fair that one loss should disqualify you from a championship.

The other bowl games don’t have to go away. They are still going to get played on newyears day as usual, its just that the final 4 will be newyears day night and the final will be a week later as they do now. This would just make the sponsors/colleges more money, more tv viewings and get the fans what they want.
