NASA Discovers Pacman on a Death Star Orbiting Saturn

Okay, so it isn’t the Death Star, nor is it really a giant floating Pacman. But according to NASA, the highest-resolution-yet temperature map and images of Saturn’s icy moon Mimas came from the Cassini spacecraft and reveal surprising patterns on the surface of the small moon.

Unexpected hot regions that resemble “Pac-Man” eating a dot and striking bands of light and dark in crater walls give the Death Starish moon an eerie feel that can only come from combining the two icons from over 30 years past.
