Ted Cruz pulling Ron Paul libertarians over to his camp

For decades, Ron Paul was the popular face and mouthpiece for the Libertarian Movement. It made sense when his son, Senator Rand Paul, announced his candidacy that he would pick up his father’s mantle just as Elisha did when Elijah was taken up. With Paul’s campaign dying and his politics leaning more towards standard Republican rather than pure Libertarianism, some started looking for a better representative for their cause.

That person turns out to be conservative Republican candidate Ted Cruz, at least for some of Paul’s supporters.

The newest Cruz supporters even invoked Ron Paul’s name several times in their support video.

Cruz isn’t the only thing that should concern Paul’s campaign. The number one destroyer of Presidential runs, a dwindling purse, is starting to rear its ugly face towards Paul’s chances.

Those who still support Paul shouldn’t fret. He’ll still be in his 50s when the next round of elections comes up even if he has to wait eight more years if a Republican wins the White House next year.
