2016 Cadillac SRX: The baby Escalade rides strong

When you see a Cadillac SRX you see an SUV that rides differently than the flagship SUV in the Escalade, but one that offers a massive amount of luxury features and equipment that make it truly a Cadillac model.  The SRX comes in competing highly with the BMW X3, Audi Q5 and Mercedes-Benz GLK.  While the German models may have some features that are a bit better than the SRX, as a complete package the SRX gives you everything you want in an SUV and then some, making this last year of the model one that will be remembered.

Driving the SRX offers you a dynamic ride and exciting ability to have a fantastic drive on any road.  As you might expect, the agile handling of the SRX keeps the SUV balanced and secure on any road, making it easy for you to have a great time.  Knowing this is a Cadillac gives you the confidence of experiencing a smoother ride than any other vehicle on the road as well as offering you a fantastic steering system that will take on the curves and turns offered.  All of the 2016 models will come standard with the OnStar 4G LTE Wi-Fi system to give you the ability to enjoy connectivity for up to seven different devices.

One cool feature of the SRX is the fact you don’t have to choose between engines.  There is only one engine offered and it’s a well-performing 3.6-liter V6 that puts out 308 horsepower and 265 lb.-ft. of torque.  This engine uses direct injection system that pulls all the power it can from this V6 as it’s attached to a six-speed automatic transmission that can be fitted with either FWD or AWD.  The towing capacity for this SUV shows up at 3,500 pounds to give you the ability to pull some fun toys behind your SRX.

On the inside you can enjoy a modern interior that is updated and well-designed.  The controls are placed in easy to find locations to make it fun and simple for you to get in and drive.  The spacious cabin gives you and your family room for five to ride in style and comfort and take along up to 30 cubic feet of cargo to fit in the rear behind the seats.  Just take a look out the UltraView Sunroof and you can see how much the SRX feels great and wide open to the world.
