Any other year, this would be shocking. This late in the year ahead of a Presidential election, two political outsiders are leading the pack for the Republican party and they’re showing no signs of slowing down now. There’s even a chance that a third outsider might power her way into the mix.
Any other year, Dr. Ben Carson and mogul Donald Trump aren’t running. Any other year, the sentiment might be a little different about outsiders. Not this year.

Trump has been on top for a while, but Carson has been making an unlikely push. We call it “unlikely” because he really hasn’t been very aggressive… or has he? The soft spoken yet fiery non-politician has clearly been striking a cord with Republicans in Iowa and around the country.
