Dodge has made some big waves the last couple of years by slapping a cool badge and sick performance on its Charger and Challenger models. The “Hellcat” variations are hot and they’re flying off the showrooms at any Dodge dealer that gets a hold of one.
It isn’t just the speed and beautiful styling that’s making them so popular. It’s the price. There are much slower cars with much higher price tags than these beasts. Thanks to the way that Dodge made the Charger a sedan in its latest revival (a move panned by many but that is paying off in sales), one does not have to settle for the Challenger coupe to get the performance.
In this infographic by the BBC, they explore the different ways to break down how much a Hellcat costs compared to other vehicles.
